The CLE 300 features a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 48V mild hybrid technology, producing 255 horsepower from the internal combustion engine and an additional 23 horsepower from the integrated starter generator. The CLE 450 steps up to a 3.0L turbocharged 6-cylinder engine with 48V mild hybrid assistance, generating 375 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, plus the same electrical boost as the base model. Both powertrains connect to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
